The popular children’s story, The Jungle Book, will be performed at the Algonquin Arts on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m.
The musical is being produced by The Magik Theatre and is a 60-minute show suitable for children of all ages and their families, according to a press release.
Based on the classic children’s novel by Rudyard Kipling, The Jungle Book is a collection of stories that connects the experiences of a human child named Mowgli, who is adopted by wolves in the jungle.
Mowgli is accepted as a “wolf” by the other animals, but he begins to question his identity when exposed to humans.
The show is being presented “in loving memory of Marialana,” Algonquin Arts said. Tickets are $12 per child and $15 per adult, senior or student.
