MANASQUAN, N.J. (Oct. 21, 2013) - Father Alphonse Stephenson and The Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea salute Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Tim Rice and other composers seated at musical theatre's round table in Broadway Knights on Sunday, October 27 at 3 p.m.

The concert will feature selections from Broadway hits including "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Evita," New York, New York," "Follies," "Phantom of the Opera," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Sunset Boulevard" and more.

An all-star lineup of soloists will feature with the orchestra with many crowd favorites returning to the stage. Brielle's Chris Pinnella, the Algonquin Arts Theatre's William Whitefield and Julie Nagy, Ali Gleason, Eric Harper, Maria Zito-Kaufman and Carter Calvert.

The concert kicks off the 2013-14 edition of the Algonquin Arts Theatre's popular Orchestra Series sponsored by Novy & Associates. The series continues on January 5, 2014, with "Viennese New Year" and on April 26, 2013, with "Once Upon an Opera."

Regular seating is available at $42, $40 and $30, respectively. All tickets are subject to $2 processing fee. Tickets are also on sale now for the final two concerts of the series.

Calvert, who stars in "Evita" at Algonquin Arts Theatre from November 8-17 will preview selections from "Evita" and also sing a selection from "Cats" in which she played the leading role of Grizabella in the national tour. Pinnella, a vocalist with of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, has previously appeared at the Algonquin in concert and in leading roles in both "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "The 1940s Radio Hour." Gleason also appeared in "Joseph" and "Radio Hour" and has become one of the Algonquin's favorite leading ladies, starring Nancy in "Oliver!" and Lady of the Lake in "Spamalot."

Whitefield, the Executive Director at Algonquin Arts Theatre, last appeared in "Spamalot" while Julie Nagy, the theatres Education Director, last 'appeared as Glinda the Good Witch in "The Wizard of Oz." Harper and Zito-Kaufman return having appeared with The Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea on numerous occasions.

Ordained a Catholic priest by the Diocese of Paterson, N.J., Father Stephenson, a beloved maestro and founder the Festival of the Atlantic in Pt. Pleasant Beach, served as the music director and conductor of Michael Bennett's smash hit, "A Chorus Line," for more than 3,000 performances.
