Second Annual Surf Bash at Algonquin Arts Theatre with a Screening of Drop Zone Fiji

Manasquan, NJ � Algonquin Arts Theatre is proud to present the Second Annual Surf Bash on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Festivities begin at 7:00pm in the Algonquin Arts courtyard with music provided by the local band Soup Sandwich, best-known for their traditional surf culture style. The evening is sponsored by Body Glove, Optimum Health Chiropractic, and 3rd Ave Surf Shop.

A beer garden will available in the courtyard throughout the evening for those 21 years old and over. Doors to the film screening will open at 7:30 pm. The program will commence at 8:00 pm with a slide show of local surf talent presented by Bruce Chrisner and Mike Meserol. The slide show will be followed by the theatrical premiere of the film The Drop Zone Fiji sponsored by Body Glove.

The Drop Zone Fiji is the ultimate dive and surf film that follows professional surfers on the adventure of a lifetime. The film documents professional surfers Alex Gray, Cheyne Magnusson, Holly Beck, and Maria Gonzalez as they surf legendary breaks, dive pristine waters, and immerse themselves in the Fijian culture.

Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 12 to 6 pm and Saturday from 12 to 4 pm. Algonquin Arts Theatre is located at 173 Main Street in downtown Manasquan, NJ.
