Goodman's smashing success introduced jazz to a new audience, and transformed him into the world's first pop icon. Eighty years later, on January 14, 2018, Dan Levinson and James Langton's New York All-Star Big Band will celebrate that milestone with music played at that landmark event. You'll hear "Don't Be That Way", "One O'Clock Jump", and the anthemic "Sing, Sing, Sing", as well as other hits immortalized by the Goodman orchestra during the Swing Era. These are the sounds that captivated an entire planet - and they're as exciting today as they were eight decades ago. Don't miss this!
