Synopsis

Joe Holiday's Reading Rocks is back for a third season with a Brand New Show for 2019. A combination of stage magic, music, audience participation and comedy all while showcasing popular children's books: "Harold and the purple crayon", "How to eat fried worms", "My weird School daze" and "Holes" to name a few.

This performance fulfills the following State of New Jersey Core Curriculum Standard(s) and Algonquin Arts Performance Component(s): 21ST Century Life and Careers (LIFE), Comprehensive Health and Physical Education (CPA), Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), Language Arts Literacy (LAL), Social Studies (SS), Science (SCI), Technology (TECH), Mathematics (MATH), Discussion Component (DISC).

Seating for Algonquin Education Series performances is assigned by the Education Director to ensure that schools will be seated together to the extent possible and to expedite the arrival and departure process. Individual ticket purchasers will be grouped together a block of reserved, general admission seats.
