The set list reads like who's who of the stage's most famous composers including the likes of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, George Gershwin, Andrew Lloyd Weber and Giacomo Puccini, along with arrangements of well-known songs made famous by rock & roll pioneers like The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
A sought after leading lady, in addition to "My Fair Lady" Crampton is best known for her critically acclaimed roles in productions of "The Fantastics," "Camelot," "Nine," and "Phantom." She has appeared in 10 leading roles at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Milburn, N.J. The New York Times has said that "Crampton has a glittering, silvery soprano ... an angel's voice exquisite in every detail."
A Long Island native, Crampton was cast as Louisa in the off-Broadway production of "The Fantasticks" and was later recalled to the cast for the 30th anniversary national tour in which she starred opposite Robert Goulet.
Crampton had the pleasure of performing several times for President George H. W. Bush and his wife, Barbara, at the Houston Theatre, including hosting the first family as her personal guests when she was part of a fundraising benefit. It was also at the Houston Theatre that she also worked with the legendary composer Jerry Herman.
Featured on many recordings and compilations, Crampton released her first solo album "Unusual Way" in 2011 featuring Broadway standards accompanied by the London National Symphony and recorded at the world- famous Abbey Road Studios in England.
