Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to Open at Algonquin Arts Theatre

Manasquan, NJ � Algonquin Arts Theatre is proud to present their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which will open this Friday, July 29th at 8 pm and run until Sunday, August 7th. This is a musical for all ages that features local talents from Monmouth and Ocean Counties. This event is sponsored by the Paul F. Zito, MD Educational Foundation.

Audiences will have the opportunity to journey through biblical Egypt with this telling of the story of Joseph, his jealous brothers and one extremely colorful garment. Penned by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice, this show is directed by Broadway veteran Robert Johanson and stars Chris Pinella of Brielle as Joseph.

"We have remarkable talent in this production," says William Whitefield, Executive Director of Algonquin Arts Theatre. "The cast is comprised of over sixty individuals, all with wonderful voices, that create a powerhouse of inspiring music accompanied by the orchestra."

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays July 29th and 30th and August 5th and 6th at 8:00 pm and Sundays July 31st & August 7th at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $27 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $18 for students. Group rates are also available. Algonquin Arts Theatre is located at 173 Main Street in downtown Manasquan, NJ.
